gk architetti is the italian-japanese architectural design firm founded in Milan, Italy in 2006 by Carlo Andrea Gorelli and Keiko Kondo.
Our objectives are to firstly combine Italian aesthetics with Japanese precision and synthesis in order to have an original design result.
The firm is very careful to provide the customers with a variety of design ideas that will enable him to choose the best solution.
Great importance is then given to the executive phase to minimize the uncertainties and possible problems: through the executive drawings fact, being taken into account all aspects (architectural, plant and structural), you can have an excellent control of the body building that is going to be realized.
Each project has its own history and is completely identified with the needs of the customer becoming practically “tailor-made” from all points of view, starting from the comfort element that is always held in high regard.
Even in the design of small environments, of which the studio is specialized, everything is designed to have the usability that is found in the “cuts” of greater dimensions.
Carlo Andrea Gorelli
Architect
Born in Milan in 1971, he graduated in 1998 at Politecnico of Milan.
Since 1999 he started the collaboration with several firms in Milan and the realisation of his projects focusing residential and commercial architecture.
Keiko Kondo
Architect
Born in Yokohama in 1973, she graduated in 1996 at Shibaura University of Tokyo and after she had been working as architect.
In 2002 she moved in Milan and began the collaboration with various studios in Milan.
